General Introduction
Yokogawa GD40 is the detector of GD40/GD402 gas density analyzer which applicable for intrinsically safe and explosion-proof zones, it is designed to be virtually maintenance free for all accepted applications which owns several outstanding features as : resistant to external vibrations; outstanding stability against sudden changes in gas temperature; multi-mode self-oscillation circuit minimizes drift caused by the sensor itself or by oil mist, dust, moisture, etc. sticking to the sensor; easy cleaning and regeneration of sensor which can be easily cleaned and returned to its original condition when the sensor be contaminated with dust and mist; only routine maintenance is required, for example, once per 3 months depending on application.
